2019 Ford Fusion Performance

The 2019 Ford Fusion has seen a slight makeover from its predecessor. Ford made the front a sportier appearance with the corner lights having taller corner inserts. In addition, reshaped headlights are a new introduction, too. Ford installed the hybrid versions with a larger battery, and the all-electric range has seen significant improvement. Ford created each trim level of the 2019 Ford Fusion with the Co-Pilot360 suite of driver assistance technology. Let’s review how the 2019 Fusion performs on the road.

The 2019 Ford Fusion has a smooth ride and good suspension. With a few new modifications, Ford still keeps all of its reliable characteristics we associate with Ford.

The interior of the 2019 Ford Fusion in Goldsboro is luxurious and comfortable. There is plenty of space so that passengers don’t feel cramped even on longer rides. Different trim levels can have seat covers ranging from cloth to leather and a basic-looking interior to one of pure style.

Engine and Acceleration:
There is a wide variety of engines spanning the various trim levels of the 2019 Ford Fusion, starting with a very basic 175-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder going all the way to a 325-hp twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 for the Sports model. All gasoline options have a six-speed transmission. The hybrid version houses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. The plug-in hybrid comes with a larger battery pack.

Handling and Braking:
The Ford Fusion does well with handling and braking. Among the best in its category, the sedan is agile and hardly displays anybody leans when going around bends. Front-wheel drive is the standard, but the 2019 Fusion is also available in 4x4.

Each model includes a beautiful Infotainment system from the base trims to full state-of-the-art systems at higher trim levels. The system is intuitive and responds quickly to both voice and touch inputs.

All-in-all, the 2019 Ford Fusion shows some great improvements when compared to earlier models. Stop by and see us at Deacon Jones Ford Lincoln in Goldsboro, NC and test drive the New 2019 Ford Fusion!
