Introducing the 2020 Ford Fusion



Ford is releasing the 2020 Ford Fusion in the summer of this year. The 2020 Ford Fusion will be the company’s latest entry into the competitive Sedan segment. Let’s take a deeper look into the features of the fabulous model:

Variants Available

There are four trims available for the 2020 Fusion:

  • S
  • SE
  • SEL
  • Titanium

Each trim is described in detail below. 

Ford Fusion S

This trim of the 2020 Fusion comes equipped with a 175-horsepower four-cylinder engine along with a six-speed automatic transmission. It is available only as a front-wheel-drive option.

Since it is the basic model of the Fusion, it comes with standard technological features, which include a four-speaker stereo system and voice-activated SYNC infotainment.

In terms of safety, you will find lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, a rear-view camera, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, push-button start, and Ford’s MyKey.

There is a package available that incorporates adaptive cruise control and the SYNC 3 infotainment system into the base S trim.

Ford Fusion SE

This trim comes equipped with a turbo-four EcoBoost engine that supports up to 181-horsepower. Along with the basic additions to the S trim, the SE also boasts dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, SYNC 3 infotainment system, 8-inch touch screen, a six-speaker audio system, and satellite radio.

There are also additional safety features in place such as rear parking sensors. For anybody looking for the SE but as a stronger model, a specific package equips the SE with a higher-grade turbocharged engine and adaptive cruise control.

Ford Fusion SEL

In terms of additional features, the SEL has heated front seats and optional adaptive cruise control. The infotainment system also sees an upgrade with an 11-speaker surround system. However, this trim is not available in the all-wheel-drive configuration.

Ford Fusion Titanium

The Titanium is the most premium trim of the 2020 Fusion. It features a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which can support around 245 horsepower.

A moonroof, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, and sporty front seats are all standard features in this trim. Adaptive cruise control along with voice-activated navigation is available as standard safety offerings. The infotainment fits another upgrade with HD Radio and a 12-speaker surround sound system.
